by Ola Rynge on April 27, 2009

Today I will start with selecting the best personal branding posts of today. Everyday I tweet about personal branding under the hashtag #peronalbranding on twitter. For all posts, please follow the hashtag or follow me. The most interesting and valuable posts will be summarized here, starting right now:

1. Personal Branding Begins with Personal Brand
Chris Perry writes about the impotance of first concentrating on defining your personal brand before starting to markting it all over. A point that most self claimed personal branding experts has lost (or never thought about). This is THE most important step of personal branding and one should let it take some time to be well defined. You are most likely to regret not doing this later.

2. Create Your USP By Looking At What Your Competitors Aren’t Claiming
Charles Brown has an interesting view of applying the corporate USP (Unique Selling Proosition) on Persnonal Brands. He emphasis the importance of differentaion and being clear about what makes you stand out from the crowed. As always, Charles’ post is insightsful and of great value.

3. Using Stories to Demonstrate Your Personal Brand
Anita Bruzzese discuss how you can use storytelling to capture the attention of your target group. This is one way to start working with defining your brand.

Live your personal brand!
