Since the information in that mail is more of a personal nature, I have chosen not to post it here. I might reconsider and post it after leaving out some details though. As a follow up to the e-mail above, I did send out a response to all my contacts who answered the first e-mail, stating 3 personal goals, 3 professional ones as well as 3 ways in which my contacts can help me to reach my goals. You asked for what you could have done better - I would maybe like to see your own goal stated a bit more specific, at least one or your goals, where others can see how they can be of assistance.
